I recently spent my honeymoon at Mía Bacalar, and while the location is stunning and the architecture beautiful, the service unfortunately did not meet my expectations for a luxury resort. The rooms are spacious with lovely views, but they felt unfinished and in need of maintenance. Dining options were quite limited and overpriced, which was frustrating given the lack of service consistency. Overall, it feels like the resort has great potential but needs improvements to deliver a true luxury experience.
